Michelle Conigliaro was announced as the 2023-24 Commack Educator of the Year on Thursday evening. 

Co-chairmen of the Professional Council Brian Simpson and Rob Ciani and CTA President Joe Bisulca made the announcement at the Board of Education meeting. 

“Your commitment to our students is truly commendable,” Bisulca said.

Sixteen finalists were announced on May 31. Each candidate submitted an essay which included their background and also described a Defining Moment in their Commack Career. In addition, each candidate submitted a video where they were able to share their answers to several questions covering a variety of topics. Congratulations to all 16 nominees.
